Students must be able to do a back walk over and back handspring to enroll in this class. This class is geared for students who have mastered the basic tumbling skills (Level 1/2) and are ready to move on. The skills in this class are multiple connected back handsprings and front and back tucks! Strength, conditioning, and flexibility will also be taught each class session. Participants must have all level 2/3 skills to progress to a Level 3/4 tumbling class.
Students must be able to perform multiple back handsprings and working tucks. Students should have mastered the level 1/2 and level 2/3 skills requirements. Students must be able to perform the skills in levels 1-4. This class will work on standing tumbling connections that finish to layout, multiple flip connections in running passes including whips, layouts, tucks, punch fronts and Arabians, full twisting layout and other advanced flipping and twisting skills including double fulls, and tumbling out of fulls into a connected tumbling pass for students who are ready.
Tumble for Dancers
Tumbling for dancers is similar to our tumbling classes, but will place more emphasis on skills used by dancers in solos and performance. These skills include back handspring step outs, side and front aerials, walkovers, layout step outs, handstand work and more. This class is designed around specific needs for dancers that want to add tumbling to their resume. This class will work on connections between basic and advanced tumbling skills with dance leaps and jumps. It is a great way to improve flexibility, range of motion, and control/understanding of the body through beautiful movement.
