Hi loves! My name is Coach Kristy and I am the owner of Fire House Gym!

Read Coach Kristy’s Bio here!

I have had the honor of being a cheer, gymnastics and tumble coach since 2006. My background began as young girl in gymnastics and dance. My career continued through high school and college! Throughout my college career, I coached a local college dance team and did Choreography and dance camps through UDA! I graduated from Northwestern with a degree in nuclear medicine and began working at children’s memorial in Chicago!

Working a full time career I never saw my 4 children and so I made the difficult decision after 10 years of college to quit. I started a nonprofit Cheer Team in the local gymnastics gym. Six short months later the owners went out of business and offered me the opportunity to purchase all of the equipment in the gym! Since 2006, here stands Fire House Gym! It’s quite amazing. what lots of love, a great team and hard work can create!

I have had the opportunity to coach parent and me athletes all the way up to college age worlds division athletes! My favorite is Tumble 1. I love starting off a child’s love for these sports! I am super passionate about helping all humans find their superpowers and know that they can accomplish absolutely anything they desire! This is what drives me to continue to grow our Fire Family!

When I am not at the gym, you can find me performing with Aloha Chicago! I am a professional Polynesian dancer. I also am very passionate about fitness and working out! I love programming for online clients! I am very passionate about peace & spirituality and meditation is a huge part of my life! I am addicted to reading & learning!

My greatest love are my children! Coach Alana is my oldest daughter and my very best friend in the entire world! My son, Kaden, is a college pitcher and we love traveling the world watching him play baseball. My youngest daughter, Kaia, is on Firestorm & Heatwave. She also plays travel softball, plays 5 instruments and is in chorus! My two step sons, Tate & Seth, are grown with children. My adopted son Andy is grown and has to be the funniest human I’ve ever met! My love of my life, Coach Tom, has 3 amazing kids I am blessed to have in my life!

I am so grateful for all of the beautiful gifts in my life including the opportunity to lead, Fire House Gym! I am so grateful for all of my incredible athletes, and the opportunity to make a difference in their lives!

Hi, I’m Alana!

Alana has over 18 years of All-Star Cheer experience, 11 of which she was an athlete. She started off her cheer career around 10 years old at Twisters Elite. After one year there, her mom (Coach Kristy) founded Fire House Gym and she was a part of the first teams ever at Fire! She completed 9 cheer seasons at Fire House Gym, from Level 1 to Level 5, and then came out of retirement in 2019 to compete on a Senior Open Level 4. Fun fact: Coach Chloe was also on that team! In addition to cheer, she also competed in USTA power tumbling for 7+ years.

Alana junior coached all throughout her years of cheering and tumbling, and began coaching her own teams and flexibility in 2019 after college, and has been since then! While at college in Miami, Florida, she coached gymnastics, Excel bronze and silver, at Elite Gymnastics Academy.

Nowadays, she loves to coach cheer teams and come in on her free time to tumble!

Once in high school I tried out for the MCHS cheer team and made varsity all 4 years! I also cheered at ICE in 2020 on Snow Angels and placed 8th at worlds (virtually)! I began coaching Rec Classes in 2022 and began coaching Cheer in 2024. Fun fact- I taught myself how to tumble!

Hi, I’m Ashlee!

I also enjoyed competing power tumbling for 5 years with many fond memories of successful competitions at multiple local, state and national competitions. During those years, I began my coaching career when I was 14 yrs old. In March 2025, it will mark my 20th year of coaching!

I also enjoyed cheering and competing on the varsity cheer team in my high school years and 1 fun year of allstar cheer at Fire House after high school. In 2009 my senior year my cheer team began tumbling at Fire House and I was offered a job to begin coaching the level 2 gymnastics team and I have been coaching multiple levels of our gymnastics team ever since!

I have 4 wonderful children (2 of which are on 2 of the elite cheer teams at Fire), a loving husband, 2 black cats & 2 Chiweenie dogs. I love to garden. I am also a licensed hairstylist at a salon in Woodstock and own a wedding hair and makeup business. Although I am a busy lady, I thoroughly enjoy coming to the gym to coach and have always referred to the gym as my “fun job”. Band is the best way to contact me with questions, which I’m happy to answer anytime! I’m excited & looking forward to another fun season at Fire House Gym!

I’ve been an athlete at one gym my whole life and that of course would be Fire! I didn’t really have a choice as it is my Aunts (Coach Kristy) gym and my mom (Coach Katie) was the head power tumbling coach… but I wouldn’t have had it any other way! I grew up in the gym (starting at around 4 or 5 years old) doing power tumbling and cheer. I was on our first team (minis) at fire with only 5 of us on it! I cheered on Levels 1-5 and came out of retirement to compete in 2018-2019. Throughout my cheer career I was mainly a flyer. Fun fact – Coach Alana and I competed in Vegas at the All Star Games together with 2 other girls on our team as just a stunt group, kind of like a stunt off you could say!

I started out mainly coaching preschool gymnastics classes but I am now a head coach for 2 of our full season teams and coach almost every kind of Rec class we offer. I teach kids from 18 months old to high school age!

I spend a lot of my time at the gym coaching and am very passionate about it but in my free time I LOVE to lift… I am definitely a gym rat!

I started cheer in 2010 as a Tiny cheerleader at Fire House Gym! Then I moved to rec cheer and I went through 2 different programs before deciding to come back home to Fire House Gym in 2020. My favorite cheer memories are when my Junior 4.2 team won 2nd at the All Star Worlds in 2024 and doing sideline cheer in high school! A fun fact about me is I’m double jointed and my elbowed can hyper extend.

Hi, I’m Jaclyn!

Cheerleading has been a part of my life since I was 4 years old. In my earliest years I cheered for rec, followed by the Jr. Luvabulls, which was an unforgettable experience. At that time I was also a gymnast for and retired at the start of the level 6 team, when I had to choose between gymnastics and cheerleading. I went on to cheer for middle school and high school (Warren), and my all-time favorite kind of cheer – all star! I loved the competitive aspect of it and looked forward to going to competitions all year round. I started at Illinois Knights Elite, followed by Viper Cheer Allstars, and then Ultimate All Stars before we were renamed to Ultimate Athletics. My highest accomplishment as an athlete is 8th place at USASF Worlds on UA Legacy! After my “super senior” year I coached tumbling classes, Half Season Cheer, and Tiaras (Y2 & Y3) at Ultimate Athletics. My highest accomplishment as a coach was winning WSF Supernationals, Jamfest Supernationals, CSG Supernationals Level 2 Grand Champs, and US Finals all in the same season. We had the most positive and supportive athletes and parents and it was truly the recipe for a dream season! After leaving the cheerleading world for a corporate career for 10 years, I have found myself back doing what I love to do and I couldn’t be happier!

I live in Spring Grove with my husband, Mike and 3 amazing kiddos – Hannah, Olivia and Jake. My kids are the light of my life! We have 2 cats, 1 dog, and 7 koi fish. I have so much fun being a mom and love hanging out with my friends! We are very involved in sports. Participating in sports year round is something I love because our kids learn independence, team work, and learn how to be an active part of the community. It’s also a super bonus that it brings us all together as a family. Outside of sports I love traveling, playing board games, and spending time outside.

I am looking forward to an amazing season and to watching these kiddos grow individually and with their teams. Most of all I can’t wait to see them love the sport of cheerleading!

Kristin has an extensive background in dance, cheer and gymnastics. She started in dance when she was just 5 years old. She later transitioned to cheerleading and was a flyer her whole cheer career.

After high school, Kristin went to college and earned her degree in a Social Service field. She joined the UCA staff and coached cheerleading camps across the Midwest. She also coached both all star and high school cheer teams during this time.

Currently, Kristin is a stay at home mom and enjoys spending time with her family including her partner of 15 years – Nick, their 4 year old daughter, and two dogs. Hi my name is Coach Lily!

I began my journey at Fire House as a gymnast/power tumbler for 11 years. I competed up until level 8. I have been coaching level 2s and 3s since 2022. I also coach rec classes including shooting stars, and tumble1-2. My favorite event is floor because tumbling was my favorite thing to do and I loved being able to create my own routines to fun music. I have 2 siblings, an older brother and a younger sister. My younger sister has also done gymnastics and tumble at Fire for many years with me.

Hi! I’m Coach Maddie!

I began my journey at Fire House Gym as a cheerleader in 2011. While I was still an athlete, I was offered a junior coaching position for our dance team and Tiny cheer team. Since then, I’ve coached over 40 teams in all ages & levels from novice to elite level 4 since 2013. Coaching our CheerAbilities program has been my favorite coaching opportunity. We began our CheerAbilities team back in 2016. I’m looking forward to working with the Fireworks athletes this season!

When I’m not at the gym, you can catch me spending time with friends and family, cycling, crocheting, and reading. I recently started a new position as a paraprofessional supporting Transition students as a job coach.

Hi I’m Coach Victoria!

Read Victoria’s Bio here!

Victoria has 10+ years of cheerleading experience. She danced competitively from ages 5-12. When it was time to choose between dance and cheer, she chose cheer and became the captain of her team senior year! She cheered in college at Western Illinois University, where she received a Bachelor’s in Broadcasting. Throughout school, Victoria regularly volunteered for cheer clinics to help teach routines and assist running camps.

Victoria loves to plan adventures with her husband, Shane and play outside with, create art, and read with their three kids Sawyer 7, Harrison 4, and Mila 2. She also has a kitten named Bluey and a puppy named Bingo, both born in 2024 and names inspired by her current job of recruiting Veterinarians!

Victoria loves to work with kids! Aside from having a family of her own, she helped organize and create a new tee-ball team for Wonder Lake and coached two of the youth teams for the 2024 season. She stays active with group fitness classes and her kids love being at Fire House Gym. Victoria can’t wait to be a part of the Fire Family staff and is very excited for her daughter, Mila to join Sparklers in the fall! Mila says “cheer is life” and we know that she is right!

Victoria is often seen as a culture champion in any setting and we are so excited to bring her passion to Fire House Gym! Please be sure to say hello to Coach Victoria and keep your eyes peeled for some upcoming Flyer Clinics that she will be hosting!
